Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Diego app. Your use is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, these terms add to it and do not reduce your rights under it.

Estimates, not advice

Diego counts days and applies published residency, tax-presence and visa rules to the trips you record. Its results are estimates only. They are not tax, legal, immigration or financial advice. Rules have exceptions, tie-breakers and recent changes that the app may not capture, and the results are only as accurate as the trips recorded. Before making decisions based on residency or tax status, consult a qualified professional.

Subscriptions

• Diego offers a free Visitor plan and paid Nomad, Expat and Global Citizen plans, billed monthly or yearly.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
• Moving to a plan with fewer trackers unpins the ones it can't hold. Your trips are never deleted by a plan change.

Your data

Your data stays on your device as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

Availability

Diego is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for decisions made, or penalties, taxes or losses incurred, based on the app's estimates.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
